THE PAUSE IS THE MOVE.

Behavioral interruption / urgency disruption

The pause is the move.

V12 // DIRECT TRANSMISSION
WHY BFDM BUILT THIS

V12 introduces the first behavioral prescription in the BFDM Phase 1 arc. After V10 exposed urgency as the mechanism and V11 exposed false context, V12 gives the behavioral override: pause.

WHAT THIS EXPOSES

Under pressure, people act. That's the exploit. V12 targets the gap between stimulus and response where the mistake happens.

WHY THE PATTERN WORKS

Urgency bypasses verification. Attackers manufacture time pressure specifically to prevent the pause that would expose them.

WHAT TO RECOGNIZE

Every time they've felt rushed by a message and acted before thinking. The pattern they've already experienced.

THE SAFE MOVE

Pause. Don't act on urgency. Verify outside the message — call the company directly, don't click the link.

PSYCHOLOGICAL FUNCTION

Behavioral interruption. Interrupting urgency-response loops before the mistake happens. Urgency is the mechanism; the pause breaks it.

EXPANDED DOCTRINE ASSETS

V12 is the behavioral prescription post of Phase 1. Introduces the pause as the core BFDM defensive move against urgency-based attacks.
